Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina through the ground and pound strategy, resulting in a TKO second-round victory. She repeated her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she had in any major way. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
